44th Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 1, 2018

The Pinetops Christmas Parade Committee is very pleased and proud to invite you to be a part of the 44th Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 am. Last year we had over 90 entries and thousands of spectators from all across eastern North Carolina. We hope this annual event will continue to grow in participants and spectators.

We want this to be a fun and exciting parade for “kids of all ages” and a celebration of the holiday season. While we hope to see professional floats, marching bands, vintage cars, and scout groups, we would also like to see lots of our local school groups, church groups and non-professional floats.

The Pinetops Area Community Development Corporation, a non-profit organization, relies greatly on the generosity of the citizens and businesses of Pinetops as well as Edgecombe County. We ask that you join us in supporting another great parade. Please consider sending a donation to:

Pinetops Area Community Development; Drawer C, Pinetops, NC 27864. Make checks payable to: Pinetops Area Community Development.  Please write Christmas Parade on the memo line.

Below you will find more information about the Pinetops Christmas Parade and printable entry forms:

Professional floats are available again this year. The cost of sponsoring a float is $450.00. You may wish to co-sponsor a float with another business or organization at a cost of $225.00 each. You can also sponsor one of our local bands for $300.00 or enter your own business/advertising float for $50.00.

We also encourage organizations to be creative and design their own floats. These non-professional floats will be judged on creativity and originality. Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries!

You may register either by mailing the enclosed entry form, or dropping your entry form off at the Town Hall. Registration deadline is Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Please join us in making the 2018 Pinetops Christmas Parade a great way to celebrate the holiday season.
